Carnivore Cafe
Project Date: July 2024
Inspired by Jurassic Park, I designed a restaurant that could fit right into Universal Studios Isles of Adventure. The Carnivore Cafe is a two story restaurant that has an open air upper floor that overlooks the park.
There are augmented reality windows on the back of the first floor, that can display dinosaurs right outside; as if the guests are really sitting next to a dinosaur exhibit.

Hutt Hideaway

A Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge conceptual restaurant, Hutt Hideaway is an underground sit down restaurant experience in which guests come face to face with a life-size Hutt animatronic.
Keeping with the Galaxy's Edge timeline, the most famous Hutt, Jabba, is dead, so I wanted to create a new character that would make sense in Galaxy's Edge.
Tokka the Hutt, my new character, is an albino Hutt that runs the underground dealings of Black Spire Outpost. Guests who enter this restaurant would be able to take pictures with and enjoy the performances of Tokka the Hutt.

The floorplan is heavily based off of the set that was designed for the Jabba's Palace sets, with alterations made for guest access and to accommodate enough guests at a time.
I wanted the tables to face the Hutt animatronic as much as possible, such that all guests can have the same experience.

Overgrown
Project Date: April 2025
"Overgrown" is a quick concept of a restaurant that focuses on passive cooling methods that reduce energy use. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, this restaurant uses strategically placed vegetation and ventilation to cool the building, reducing the need for air conditioning inside.
I also included picnic tables and bike racks outside to emphasize the culture of enjoying the outdoors.
